About
As both a composer and performer, Jacob writes with the musicians in mind. He aims to create music that feels collaborative, giving soloists space to bring their own sound and personality into the piece. For audiences, his goal is to tell a story, whether abstract or direct, and create music that evokes emotion while blurring the lines between jazz, chamber music, and other genres.
